WHY AMBI?
Before there was an agency, there was Ambi.
For nearly 15 years, I had the privilege of being a nanny to many incredible families. Somewhere along the way, “Amber” became “Ambi” to the little ones I cared for—and the name stayed with me.
Being a nanny was so much more than a job. I got to watch babies I once held grow into toddlers, children, and even teenagers. I heard their first little laughs, kissed boo-boos, celebrated milestones, helped tiny hands develop their fine motor skills, worked through big feelings, encouraged independence, and watched their personalities unfold.
And caring for a family went far beyond caring for the children. It meant understanding the rhythm of a home—the bottles and laundry, school mornings and bedtime routines, meals, activities, organization, household responsibilities, and the thousand little things that keep a family moving.
Those years taught me something I could never have learned simply by running a placement agency: the right nanny doesn’t just fill a position. They become part of a child’s story and an important part of a family’s everyday life.
That’s why I created this agency. I know what families are trusting us with, because I’ve been the person they trusted. And I know what nannies deserve from the families they work for, because I’ve been on that side too.
Ambi is where that experience began.
